AN INTERVIEW WITH SIR GOING DOWN

Very recently @SirGoingdown, a male blogger from Minnesota (yes, another Minnesotan!), kindly agreed to be interviewed by me. To find out why you should never accept broccoli from him and why you should never talk about Spider-Man with him, please read his interesting answers to the interview questions below.

❓1. Why did you choose your username? When and why did you join this site and, in particular, when and why did you decide to blog?
My username was sparked by the series Bridgerton and the town gossip, Lady Whistledown.
I first joined when AFF was in its infancy, and have deleted my account many times since, then rejoined out of boredom. I decided to blog because I think I have some interesting stories to tell, and the dating part of this site became banal.

❓2. How successful has your search for what you're looking for been on this site? How many people have you met up with from this site? And, how many from this site have you had sex with?
I have been on and off this site for more than 20 years, and to be honest, I believe I've only met one. That was many years ago, and we're still very good friends.

❓3. What three words would you use and what three words would a close friend or partner use to describe your personality?
Three words. About myself: honest, generous, reliable. I asked a long time partner, and got caring, sexy, introverted.

❓4. What sort of things do you like doing in your spare time?
In my spare time I like to work on my YouTube video content, (the editing is best part), my blog (of course) and photography/videography has always been a passion of mine.

❓5. What is your favourite book, song, movie, television/streaming show and radio programme/podcast? And why are they your favourites?
Book: Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill.
Favorite song: Kashmir by Led Zeppelin.
Movie: The Transporter because of how well it infuses music into the chase scenes, great fight scenes and acting so poor, some of the lines are engrained in my memory.

❓6. What were you like as a kid? And when a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?
I was very introverted as a kid. Stayed to myself in school and had very few friends. I always relied on my imagination. I wanted to be a police officer when I grew up. And although it took many years for that to happen, it finally did and I enjoyed a great career, retiring in 2020.

❓7. If you had to live your life in another time and place, when and where would you be?
I would live my adult life in the 50s through to the 80s, when times were simpler and we all weren't walking around like zombies, slaves to our phones. I miss Walter Cronkite, kids being able to stay out until 10 at night without fear, no school shootings, and a time when elections were based on issues, not mudslinging.

❓8. What is your favourite sex position? And why is this position your favourite?
My favorite sex position depends. If I want to last a long time so my partner can have all the fun she wants - her on top. If going for a good pounding with a great view - doggy. But for intimacy and the most skin-on-skin - missionary ... that one's best for the greatest orgasms.

❓9. What's been your best and worst ever sexual encounters? And why were they your best and worst experiences?
Best sexual encounter: read my blog entry Playing Doctor. She was a 27 year old hottie at the time we got together ... that was one great day (and night),
Worst: the very first FMF threesome the wife and I engaged in. While she (the wife) was going down on our guest while I was behind her going at it doggy style, said guest farted three times in succession. Needless to say, that ended the night's activities. (Pro tip: never serve broccoli to a woman if you're going to have sex soon after.)

❓10. Where has been the most unusual place you've had sex?
Family bathroom in a large mall.

❓11. Roughly (or even better exactly), how many people have you had penetrative sex with? And what's the most number of times you've had sex in one day? What's the most number of people you've had sex with in one day?
I'm gonna be completely honest on this one (which is embarrassing). During the time I've been in 'the lifestyle', I stopped counting. Just counting the FMF threesomes the wife and I have had, eleven I believe. Then there are all the ones I played with after we opened our marriage up, then the ones from before we married, so I can't give a definitive number.
Most times in one day? Five.
Number of partners in one day? You mean at separate times that same day? Just two.

❓12. From our exchanges in blogland, I know you've attended a sex club. What's been the best sex club you've attended, and why? And what's been your best and worst sex club experiences, and why?
Best sex club: 'Play Champagne'. Both their brick and mortar club in Fort Wayne, Indiana (not there anymore) and the hotel takeovers they do. Epic parties and experiences.
Best experience was spending my birthday in the VIP room at Club Princeton (the old one, with the motorcycle which had a Sybian in the seat for the ladies, and plenty of other things to play with).
Worst was this private club/house converted into called 'Ohio Swings' (if it's gotten better, I apologize) but my experience included getting cornered by a large guy in Spider-Man pajamas, Spider-Man sneakers and hat, wanting to discuss Spider-Man 2 as he'd seen it seven times. And the place was run by the swingers equivalent of the Addams Family.

❓13. In your bio on the Community side, you write that you've been "lucky enough to collect years of great memories as a swinger". What sort of swinger were or are you? I'm presuming you were or are part of a swinging couple. If so, how did you come about to swing? How did you both swing - full or soft swap, or even just watching others having sex?, same room or different rooms?, and sex together with others or sex alone with another? How did swinging affect, positively or negatively, your relationship with your partner?
The wife and I entered the world of swinging after a conversation while having dinner. We weren't even married yet, and still in our wild stage. The conversation was about voyeurs, and she said "I'd enjoy watching you with another woman". So we started looking for a female third, and shortly after found one. After a couple of years just engaging in FMF threesomes, we decided to try a swing club, at the behest of and acquaintance of mine who actually owned the biggest club in the area. We then dove right in to full swap same room, and eventually to separate rooms, then simply dating outside of our marriage. But every so often, the voyeur came out, and we'd end up at the club with another couple, or female so she could watch. It must have been good for our marriage, as we're still going strong after 23 years.

❓14. What's been the best group sex experience you've had, and why? What advice would you give people embarking on group sex for the first time?
The best 'group sex' has been with another couple we'd known and been involved with on a regular basis. The sex got better, and even though we'd start out separate rooms, they'd end up peeking in the door after their 'round one' to find us still going. Eventually, they'd come in and hop in the bed with us, and we'd play naked Twister, LOL. One time we were all at the club, and another couple joined the four of us, so that was a pretty fun experience. Advice? Communicate. A lot. If either has any convictions about it, don't do it until you're both on the same page. A good deal of people are bitten by jealousy and mixed emotions when they see their partner being pleasured by someone else.

❓15. What has been your most embarrassing sexual moment?
It's always the same thing: you're with a pretty hot new partner, and your normally reliable cock isn't feeling it.

❓16. What is your most treasured possession, and why is it the most treasured?
Most prized possession is a pewter mug my father received as an award from Budweiser in 1971 for 'A Million Cases Sold' when he was a route salesman/beer truck driver. It's my most treasured because I lost my father in 1973, and it's the only thing of his that I have.

❓17. What is your perfect three-course meal? And what drink would you have with the meal?
Perfect three-course meal: A pasta appetizer called Pasta Salvi which is only served at one restaurant in Columbus, Ohio, then a good steak with mashed potatoes and corn, followed by a good piece of cheesecake.

❓18. If you could invite three famous people, dead or alive, to join you at a dinner party, who would you invite?
Three people I'd invite to dinner: my grandfather, Paul McCartney and Robin Williams.

❓19. If you had to have sex with three famous people, living or deceased, who would you choose? And when I say deceased, I mean having sex with them when they were alive and not having sex with them when dead!
The three I'd like to have sex with: Gillian Anderson, Jessica Alba, Sela Ward.

❓20. As the last question, please can you volunteer three bits of information about yourself that haven't been covered in this interview?
Three things about me: I love gadgets, I was orphaned at the age of eleven, and I'm a weather freak and always wanted to be a meteorologist.
