community guidelines. The most common reason that content gets flagged is that it contains dehumanizing or trolling/baiting text. Getting too many flagged posts will result in account termination.

Tmp, my friend I can understand what you mean. They said they would help me do something and I'm still waiting. I know it's not going to happen. I asked them how I can stop getting notification in the blogs that people are following me. Why I haven't a cluse because I now only make comments, and I could care less who does or doesn't follow my comments. Just tell me how to adjust my setting so it works like it use to. I used Firefox before I got a new computer and it worked fine but for sites I use for work not so great so I didn't D/L it and won't. I hope you have a wonderful day my friend.
I am so sorry my friend that the site hasn't contacted you to help you figure how to adjust your settings. Honestly I am not sure they even know with all the ridiculous changes they have made over the past several years. I would keep contacting them until they respond, as I told another member try the chat option on the HELP/CONTACT section at the bottom of the home page. Or send them an email there too.

have used firefox since signup time, had old camera denied first so online chat went away, had some problems about a week ago, was able to log on, then look at one menu choice, the immediately logged off. went on for days, complained to site, and seems back to normal. slowness is probably attributed to continuing release of fake profiles and fake staffers sending messages that say what are you looking for. these come from people who create a profile, send a message, then profile is deleted after messaging. slowness seems to occur between pages of looking at photos in what's hot.
Thank you so much for sharing and that's quite a bit of issues you had to deal with indeed. I hope things get back to normal soon, but I doubt it as it's the IT TECH'S that need make sure the site runs like it's supposed too. And the site also needs to really crack down on the fakes, scammers and bots there are here now.

It's not just the Blog section that's having issues.
Over on the dating side, a Member search will display profiles with other people's profile photo on them in the search results. Using Firefox on a Windows computer.

Slow going back to notifications in blogs but not as bad if you go to the blog group and answer there and go back to blog group. Using Chrome

I noticed apostrophes are being replaced with question marks. I looked at my most recent post, and it is filled with a bunch of strange characters....I fixed them all, so I will see if they stay corrected.
Thanks for sharing hon as that has been happening for some time now I thought they had fixed that too but apparently not. I am glad you were able to fix your blog and I hope it doesn't occur again.

I think by changing to Firefox you pin pointed some of your problems as being Microsoft Edge as they have been updating again and breaking systems especially with the AI features and the tightening of security.
Edge uses the Chromium engine. Has anyone tried to find out if these problems exist on other Chromium-based browsers, such as Brave? My main browser is Waterfox (a fork of Firefox), but I use Brave as well, mostly as the browser on my second display, and is where I log into AFF (and other sites). I noticed that in blogs such as Writa25's, you can't initiate a reply when using Brave, but you can reply to someone else's reply (like this one), whereas Firefox has no such issue.
I wasn't aware of that Mr. Pete so thank you for sharing this important information with us. This blog I was able to post with Edge yesterday so I am hoping there are no more issues with Edge.

The site is having a bad run of glitches. This is my take, and I could be wrong.
The glitches seem to correlate with the site rolling out new features or so-called upgrades. I suspect the site doesn''t test its new features/upgrades according to industry standards.
Also Andrew is more visible. He just changes things as he sees fit without consultation or testing - he's a bull in a china shop. He thinks his ideas don't need need testing.
So that's my theory. Glitches mean Andrew's about.
Glitches also mean that the AFF site development team is about as competent as a bull in a china shop. The site is full of more bugs than a bait store, yet they either don't get fixed, get fixed in a half-assed manner, or the fixes somehow break other things. To say that I don't have faith in the AFF developers is a serious understatement.
@FluffyInTheD The site have taken glitches to an art form. I can't remember the site ever being glitch-free.
@spunkycumfun That's true my friend it's never been glitch free but the glitches seem to getting much worse. Especially when they started making all the changes to the site.
