So the bug saga continues. I woke up and headed to the little girls room to dress and brush my teeth. When I picked up my panties, I noticed there was a dark spot on the opposite side. They were clean, so I was confused. I flipped them over and nearly had a heart attack.
There was a big honkin scorpion on the backside!
The stinging beast was a good 3 inches long.
I dropped the panties on the counter then realized I really didn't want it to escape to terrorize me another day. So I mustered up my courage, picked up the panties gingerly and shook them over the toilet.
Thank goodness the scorpion fell nicely into the bowl and started his first swimming lesson. Then a human activated wave of water washed him down the pipe.
Amen. I survived.

Wow! Good thing you were not on Auto-Pilot and slipped them on without looking. I suspect you will be taking a closer look at your clothes not before slipping them on.
I had a great weekend. Time with Diane and time at Devil's Lake that I need to post about with a picture or two.

Hello Pony Luv, being here in the desert town of Sin City scorpions are a thing. I never saw one until I moved into this house. It was thankfully dead and had been so for some time it seems. I'm glad to hear you gave it a swimming lesson, very kind of you.
I was chatting with a sweetie if mine and she asked, "Can roaches fly?". Which I responded with a yes. I've seen it way too many times. Apparently there was one in the living room and she did a mad search for the bug spray. I recommend just getting the vacuum out but that would get her too close. Chuckle.. oh well.
I just checked the weather app and we will be in the 80's today with a slow March back to triple digits. This is such a weird season. Enjoy the day!
I use the hose on the vacuum to suck bugs up. It's quick and efficient. And I can catch them mid air if necessary. LOL

Oh wow that is crazy to find a scorpion and not to mention deadly too. I am glad you flushed him and you find no more scorpions in your home any where.

Holy crap! I didn't know scorpions even lived in these parts. I thought there were desert-dwellers.
We do get scorpions and their sting hurts big time. At least they don't run in herds or flocks or swarm or whatever you might call a group of scorpions, LOL.
